Cupcakes and Textures

Yesterday I baked some muffins for my sisters to take to their Bible study, and I had to take some pictures of them! I used our photo box when taking the photos. The solid background works well for adding the texture.

I also took some photos of my mom's gluten-free chocolate cupcakes.

This weeks theme is smiles and my entry is of my sister, Alina. She doesn't like to stop and pose for me much, so I just snap several pictures of her and hope one or two of them come out good!

Vanilla Oat Banana Muffins

For my birthday I got this really great cook book called Muffins Galore. It's filled with dozens of muffin recipes (I've made two or three so far) and can't wait to try more!

The photo is of the vanilla oat muffins. I also added some banana and they turned out quite tasty!

I Heart Faces - "Collages"

My entry this week features my sister, Tiana. As you can tell, her favorite color is pink.

I went for a scrapbooky kinda look. The background and flower element is complements of Summer from Summertime Designs, who has free digital scrapbook kits.

Red Barn

When we were on our little weekend vacation, we stopped to get some photos of the beautiful views. There was also this barn that made for a nice photo. It's one of my favorites.

I Heart Faces - "I Heart Desserts"

Desserts is the theme at I Heart Faces this week. My entry is from my sisters birthday. She had a tea party and I made her a lemon cake for the occasion. It turned out quite tasty!

The Possum

While trying to catch a feral cat, we have g trapped a few possums. We caught this one yesterday and when we opened the door so it could go free, it just sat there. For hours. He eventually left, but he wasn't in any hurry...

Kokopelli, just relaxing outdoors in some of the nice weather we had not too long ago. I love his blue eyes. Isn't he a pretty kitty? :D
