Enjoying the Lake

At our camping trip, we spent a bit of time at the lake, even though it's was pretty windy most the time.

I Heart Faces - Pets

The I Heart Faces theme for this week is pets. I decided to enter this shot of my Seal Point Siamese, named Doji. It's pretty hard to get pictures of him, cause when the shutter just about snaps, he moves... But luckily, his brother is not as bad.

Camping 2010

I said I be posting pictures from the camping trip, so here they are! We stayed with four other families at the group site. And boy, was it a huge site! We had lots of places to decide were to set up camp, and there was tons of room for everyone to run around, and have a good time.

The Beautiful Lake Wenatchee

Yesterday my family got back from a wonderful camping trip at Lake Wenatchee. We had a wonderful time! I'll be posting some pictures sometime soon.

I Heart Faces - Celebrating Teens

I Heart Faces is celebrating teens for the next few weeks. This weeks entry has to feature a teen, and since I'm sixteen myself, and all my friends are teenagers, I had way too many pictures to choose from! I have dozens of pictures that I could have picked, but I decided to go with one of my new favorites:

Restin' in the Grass

I’ve always loved pictures of people laying on the grass, with smiles on their faces. Well, I finally got to take some grass shots! And I love em’!

I Heart Faces - All About Babies

Although I don't have many baby pictures, but I thought I would enter this shot in for I Heart Faces this week. It's a photo of my cousins baby boy, named Ethan. It was shot the day after he was born.

Forest Shots

On the north side of our house, bordering our yard, is a green belt. We barely had to step off my propriety to get “forest” pictures.

Polaroids in Photoshop

I've looked around online, but haven't found a good, simple Polaroid frame for Photoshop. (I think it would be a frame). I found tutorials before, but I was hard for me to follow, since I was new to the program. So, since I learned how to use clipping masks, and how to make my own storyboard using them, I decided to make my own Polaroid frame.

The cool thing is, once I made it, I just saved the Photoshop file, and now I can easily turn any photo I want into a Polaroid in seconds.

Here's how it turned out:

I had a little fun adding text and shapes to this one. :D
