Orange Delicious

I recently made a drink based off Alton Brown's Orange Delicious recipe. I didn't freeze the orange juice in the ice cube trays, but just used ice to get the same texture. It turned out really good! I'll defiantly be making it again!

Delicious, orangey goodness!

Nothing like an umbrella in an icy cold drink!

The Oatmeal Cookies

First off, Happy July!
Second, I like to bake. Especially cookies. They're easy, fast, and taste delicious.
I'm known for my chocolate chip cookies, but recently I tried making oatmeal cookies. I've baked chocolate chip cookies (or at least helped), for almost as long as I can remember. But I'd never made oatmeal ones. Lets just say those are my new favorite kind of cookie. And maybe... just maybe, even better than chocolate chip cookies. ;)

This one's my favorite shot.

You can find the recipe here.

Enjoying the Lake

At our camping trip, we spent a bit of time at the lake, even though it's was pretty windy most the time.

My awesome friend, Carrie. She posed for me on the log.

I'm going to have a hard time convincing people that this was shot when we were camping... In the middle of June...

We spent some time at the swing sets.

I love this shot! Steven's so cute!

Oh, and this one wasn't taken by me... Maybe because it's a picture of myself... :P

I Heart Faces - Pets

The I Heart Faces theme for this week is pets. I decided to enter this shot of my Seal Point Siamese, named Doji. It's pretty hard to get pictures of him, cause when the shutter just about snaps, he moves... But luckily, his brother is not as bad.

Camping 2010

I said I be posting pictures from the camping trip, so here they are! We stayed with four other families at the group site. And boy, was it a huge site! We had lots of places to decide were to set up camp, and there was tons of room for everyone to run around, and have a good time.

The group camp sign.

Notice the winter jackets; it was cold and windy for most of the stay. We were glad we got one sunny and warm day, though.

Adorable little Mary!

There was a bit of card playing going on one morning...

My sister, Tiana.

Mary (Yes we had two Mary's)

Lots of cards.

Lauren, when all the girls were playing Apple to Apples in the tent, while it rained.

On the last day, there was a game of Capture the Flag: Kids vs. Adults. Needless to say, the parents were outnumbered...

Chris and Reid in jail.
