I Heart Faces - Anything But a Face

Things are a bit different at I Heart Faces this week, since our photo cannot have a face in it. I decided on this photo of my brother Daniel and my dad. It's back from October, when my family went on a hike one Saturday. Daniel and my dad had gone down to look at the creek, and I snapped this shot as they were making their way back to the trail. I love the blur, giving it the feel of motion and the angle it was taken from.

With all the cold, wet, stormy, and even snowy days we've had lately, I'm really looking forward for spring.

Quack, Quack!

Yesterday our family went for a walk and we passed by this pond with a whole bunch of ducks. Some of the ducks didn't let me get too close, but these two did. And for some odd reason, while I was busy snapping pictures of these two, I called them penguins...
