We were only able see a few sunsets, since the sky was overcast most of the evenings. I was able to capture the ones we got, though. Enjoy!

Beach Vacation: Enjoying the Beach
For our trip, we stayed at the same house that we rented last year. I really love that we can see the ocean from the big living room windows and watch the sunsets from there as well. The weather was a bit colder and windier than last year, so we didn't spend as much time outside. We woke up to fog every morning and overcast skies. Despite the not so enjoyable weather, we had a grand time.

“I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.”

One of the first evenings, Daddy, Aunt Carol, Tiana, and I went for a walk along the water. We were all a bit chilly, when my dad found this log that was still on fire. So we decided huddle around it and warm up. Or at least pretend to... :)
Myself, Daddy, and Tiana. Aunt Carol took this shot.
“Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone.”

Back from the Ocean
Last week was our vacation at the beach with family. We arrived home yesterday, and while the beach is lots of fun, it feels good to be home. We stayed at the same beach house that we rented last year and celebrated Daniel's birthday while we were there. It was also a bit colder and cloudier than last year, but it was still lots of fun. Now it's time to sort through and edit all the photos I took during the trip, so I can share many of them here.

Project 52: Week 32
{32/52}
Monday we visited the beach with another family. It's one of the best beaches around for finding crabs. My younger brother Daniel and Laura, one of the girls from the other family, spent most of the afternoon searching for the little creatures underneath the rocks. They found a couple dozen small crabs, but also found this larger one as well.

Beach Sunsets -Ocean Vacation-
I'm back! My motherboard arrived today, and my computer is up and running again! If feels nice to be back using my computer. I haven't been taking many pictures lately, but I'm hoping to take a lot more photos, now that I have my computer.
Here is the last post about our beach vacation, and I think I've saved the best for last: all the sunsets! Boy, where they gorgeous!
I love the texture and the lighting of the clouds in this shot.
Alina enjoyed jumping over the waves. :)

Computer Problems...
My computer stopped working the other evening. I was going to post several sunset photos from our beach vacation, but I don't have access to them now. My dad thinks it may be the motherboard, but were not really sure. All my photos are safe, though, and it will just be a while till I'll be able to work on anything. Hopefully I will have a working computer soon, so I can post some photos.
I do have this one sunset that I accidental uploaded with some other photos, so at least this post has a photo! We saw some beautiful sunsets while we were there, and I can't wait to share them! :D

Afternoons at the Beach -Ocean Vacation-
I'm home! Yesterday evening we arrived home from our beach vacation, and I have many pictures to share!
Besides my family, Grandma Margie, Grandpa Don, and Aunt Carol vacationed with us.We rented a beach house on the coast, right on the ocean. Out the large living room windows, we had a fantastic view of the ocean! And the house was right next to the beach access, so in a minute or so, you could walk from the house, to the sandy shore. We had some warm days, but even on the colder days, we could still enjoy the lovely view. Now for some pictures!
A sand castle my sister built.
A glaucous winged gull.
The lovely, but extremely cold, ocean water.
Another gull...
My footprints.
Another sea bird.
My dad running from the waves.
They had these binoculars at the top of the beach access.
Aunt Carol, Grandma Margie, and Tiana, out in the cold, cold water. Brave people! ;)
This guy was sitting on top a pole, and just before I was snapping his photo, he decided to fly away, and I got this shot instead.
My sister and I.
I have many more pictures to share, that I'll be posting throughout the week. :D
