When our family went for a walk, we bought a loaf of bread to feed the ducks at a pond at the trail we went on (the same place where I got this photo). My siblings had a fun time feeding them, while I took oodles and oodles of photos of them. I'm not quite sure why, but taking pictures of those feathered friends is quite fun, and are much easier to photograph than cats or chickens.
Oh my goodness. I love those pictures! What lens do you use?
ReplyDeleteAnytime a picture of a duck shows up on my dashboard, you can pretty much guarantee I'll be clicking on the post! I own 4 ducks myself, and they are some of the greatest pets you could have. Everyday when I go to feed them, they all line up single file and follow me to the house as I get their food ready. :D

ReplyDeleteExcellent photos of those ducks!!
ReplyDeleteI love ducks! Just the other day, we saw a husband & wife team right on the very peak of our neighbors roof, just hangin' out. So adorable. They are the cutest creatures & so animated. You have captured them so nicely.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I'm a new follower! :)
ReplyDeleteI have always felt that mallards are friendly birds... they sometimes wander in my decidedly suburban neighborhood and settle in the spring-rain-caused "pond" in my neighbor's backyard.
ReplyDeleteI love the focus in the picture with the female in the foreground.
